Creating a new photo album

So you want to create a new photo album? Okay, here's how you do it:
- In your "Navigation" menu, click on Administer >> Create Content >> Photo Album
- Fill in the required and optional fields to properly classify and organizae your new album. Event Name and Event Year are required. However, I would highly suggest adding a more specific date and a thorough description in the Event Date and Descritpion fields. The description can be as long as you want and should include how much fun we had, who won the contest, etc.
- Now comes the fun part... upoloading your images. Scroll down the page a little farther and click on this icon:

- This will launch a file selection dialog box. You can upload numerous files at one time with this method, so choose as many .JPG, .PNG, or .GIF files as you want to be a part of this album and click the Open button in the dialog box. You shoud then see a list of your selected files with the words "Image queued" underneath each file.
- Whwn you're ready, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click the Save button. Your files will begin uploading and you should see a blue & green progress bar next to each file. Don't be alarmed when the completed files disappear from the list.
- When all of the files are finished uploading, the Save button will change to say Next Step. Go ahead and click this button. You will be taken to a page where you can optionally edit the description for each of the pictures that you just uploaded.
- Enter any descriptions that you desire. Don't be alarmed if the files are in the wrong order, we'll get to that later. When you're finished click the Done Editing button.
That's it... you're finished. Oh, one more thing. If you want to re-order your pictures, here's what to do:
- Click on the Edit tab at the top of your screen, just underneath the album's title on the right hand side.
- Scroll down a little and you will see thumbnails of all your pictures.
- You can then re-order your pictures by clicking, holding and dragging the cross icon on the left of the thumbnail.

- By the way, the top-most picture in your album will be the one used for the album's preview thumbnail on the Gallery page.
